These terms cover the Pace iOS app and the website at joinpace.app. They are short on purpose. If a law where you live gives you a right these terms cannot take away, that right still applies.
The service
Pace is a habit tracker. You log reps toward a daily, weekly, or monthly target, on your own or in a group of up to 10 people. A streak is a count of windows you finished. It is a record inside the app. It is not medical, fitness, or mental-health advice.
Your account
You sign in with an email magic link and add a name. You are responsible for the email account you use, and for what happens in Pace once you are signed in on a device.
Groups
Group habits are shared. Members can see your name and your reps and streaks on habits in that group. A join code lets someone preview a group before they join. Keep habit names, group names, and photos fit for the people described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Use Pace for your own habits and for groups that want you there. Use nudges as a reminder, once per person per habit every 24 hours, which is the limit the app enforces. Do not try to access someone else’s account, probe the service, or interrupt it.
What you write
You keep the words and photos you add. You let Pace store them and show them to the people the Privacy Policy names, so the app can run. A habit or group you created can remain after you leave, because other members may still use it.
Beta
Pace is in beta and is not on the App Store yet. Features can change, and a TestFlight build may be available before the public release. The home page says “Coming soon to the App Store” until a listing link replaces it.
Ending your account
You can delete your account in Settings. The Privacy Policy explains what that removes, and what to do if deletion does not finish. Signing out leaves your data in place. You can stop using Pace at any time.
As-is
Pace is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Pace is not liable for a lost streak, lost data, or a decision you make from what the app shows. Some places limit how far a sentence like this can go, and there it applies only as far as it is allowed to.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy is part of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. Continuing to use Pace after that means the new terms apply.
